Cuba, where tropical ‘swing’ blends with the myths, the flavours, the rhythms and the textures, engraved by the inertia of time, which “transpire” history and emotions. The largest island in the Antilles, defined by Columbus as the “incarnation of paradise”, is the source of inspiration for the new IMPETUS Man & Woman - Summer 2007 collections.

In NATURAL, the lines are dominated by natural, traditional materials like cotton, or innovative ones such as the cellulose derivatives, fresh and extremely pleasant against the skin, classic cut models, personalised, proposed in soft colours.

For ACTIVE, dynamic lines, high-tech materials, acid tones, a clearly sporty spirit in the design, in the print details and labels.

And in TRENDY, a different fabric construction with predominantly microfibres, slightly low waists for modern cuts, in mineral colours (zinc, cobalt), printed in a distinctly “dandy” character.

Autumn/Winter 2006

The Autumn Winter 06 collection is segmented into three large groups: Natural, Active and Trendy. Each of these has its own clearly defined characteristics and they are all capable of satisfying the demands and refined tastes of the present and future customers of Impetus.

Natural

The feel of cotton combined with up-to-date design. For modern, determined men who like to feel comfortable and in fashion.

The Natural articles are essentially basic with a heavy cotton component. The fabrics, which are plain, or have classic patterns, are in jersey or rib. The articles are finished with small, top quality details that combine comfort and durability. The colours are neutral, or in very subtle contrasts, in order to focus on their everyday use.

Active

Speed, technology, adrenaline. The virtual world embraces the high-speed world. Concise design with radiant colours for the contemporary man.

These sporty articles, in cotton-Lycra, have ergonomic lines and are finished in strong, contrasting colours or with letter prints over the entire fabric, thus enabling seamless manufacture in some models. The waistbands and extra insertions of materials take their inspiration from the world of car racing.

Trendy

Gypsy sensuality and elegance blend with the melancholy of the past, whispering echoes of the orient and the typically Gothic rigour. A tribute to the feelings of the man who makes the entire world his home. Daring tastes and a decidedly masculine brand image.

Impetus fashion articles. Elegant and ready for the most demanding of requests. Microfibres in matt and glossy combinations with printed applications. Blends of luxurious raw materials in articles with simple yet elegant lines. Seamless with Gothic motif prints. Mixed stripes contrasting with satiny insertions. Marble effect prints. Contrasts between insertions with a subtle sheen and materials with a metallic finish.
